I want to thank everyone who has replied to the first
three. ::Hugs everyone:: Here is Wufei's tale of
being lost in the zoo.
Wufei: ONNA! I don't get lost.
Pern: that's what Heero told me...but he still got
lost.
Wufei: ::pout::
Disclaimer: I don't own them, never will. 'nuff said.
I stood alone in front of the majestic beast. Its eyes bore into me, into my soul. I couldn't move I was so transfixed on its every action. I sighed quietly and it looked away. Just for a moment, then it turned back to me. We watched each other for a few more minutes before it grew tired and began pacing back and forth. It was waiting for something, I could tell. A small bird fluttered past out of the brush and landed on the ground beside me. The beast watched it and so did I.
I stood still staring at the majestic beast. It had resumed its position under a shady tree to continue its analysis of me. I was in such awe of the regal beast that I ignored the world around me. That was until some child appeared. It gave out an ear-piercing screech of delight at seeing the royal creature that it wouldn't be quiet. It kept giggling and talking. The beast grew annoyed and wandered away. I growled as the child grabbed a hold of my pants leg and began asking all sorts of questions.
I stood looking about for the parents of the wayward child. They had to be here somewhere. Where in this jungle were they? The little girl looked at me and refused to let go of my leg. With a deep sigh, I reluctantly agreed to help her find her parents. She insisted that they were just behind her, but in this tangle of limbs and trunks, one could not distinguish anything. I took her hand we began walking.
I stood staring at the break in the path. To go left or right? I wasn't sure. The little girl insisted that her older brother had mentioned something about dragons. I arched my eyebrow. Her brother was hunting dragons? Dragons were a sacred beast and should be revered. I chose our path and headed towards where I knew dragons to be.
I stood glaring at the crowd of locals. Amongst this mess had to be the little girl's parents. I growled and prepared to shout at them all for being disrespectful in a dragon's den when the little girl gave an excited yelp. She ran from me and into the crowd. Soon after she reemerged with her mother and father in tow. Her father thanked me and her mother kissed her daughter. They were afraid her brother had left her as an offering to the tiger. How silly, the majestic tiger won't take an offering that isn't worthy of it. They thanked me again and went on their way.
"CHANG WUFEI!"
Wufei turned in time to see everyone, including now Zechs and Noin, coming towards him. Relena looked flabbergasted.
"Honestly Chang!" she growled. "We finally get everyone and you disappear. What is up with that?" She glared at him in her best imitation of Heero. Suddenly something grabbed Wufei's leg. Looking down he noticed the little girl he'd helped.
"Thanks again mister!" She said as Wufei knelt down and she gave him a huge hug. Relena's jaw dropped. "Bye!" called the little girl as she bounded away. Wufei got back up.
"Wufei?" asked Duo. "What happened?"
"Lost." Wufei replied before walking out of the kamodo dragon exhibit.
