Warnings: The following story contains scenes that are humorous,
sappy, fluff, with Incoherence, random PoV switching, and
Sexual innuendos abound.
Original Characters are presented; all characters are IC according to
the author's interpretation of them. Mainly heterosexual
situations, with hints of YAOI and YURI.
Spoilers: Previous Matter of Heart Series Arc stories: "Dance of the
Heart" Arc and "Oh Baby, Baby" Arc. Built off of "Traditions".
Feedback: C&C is always welcomed and adored.

made my sojourn in GW-fanfiction more than just enjoyable and have
inspired me to write, write, and write some more. Thank you.
Disclaimer: Gundam Wing and its characters belong to Bandai, Sunrise
and Sotsu Agency and are only being used for non-profit entertainment
purposes. References to printed texts, films, sitcoms, musical
pieces, and/or other fanfictions don't belong to the author either.
Original Characters, including but not limited too, the Berh
Siblings, Jake Mazzolla and "the chibis", are original and hence, the
author's own creation.
Notes: This is the story of the children, the nine children of the 6
gundam pilots (Heero--Zechs) plus the grandchild of Treize
Khushrenada. This story will not focus primarily on the characters
from the series, but rather, the generation after them. This story is
not for all die-hard fans, but runs along the lines of a more
original piece.
Additional Note: 1, 2, 3, 4, & 5 often times refer to each other as
"husband"; please refer back to "Promise of the Rings" Part 15 if this
causes confusion.
Additional Note 2: The chibis often times refer to their parents'
friends and partners as "Uncle" or "Aunt"--in this case, the
term is used simply as one of respect since, with the exception
of Kit & Adrian's relation to Relena and all of Quatre's sisters,
none of the parents have siblings.

Whispering Pines 9:18am
Heero was checking his messages when someone knocked at the home office door. Without waiting for a by-your-leave Tristan Winner walked right in.
"Hey, how was your trip?" the young blond asked congenially enough.
"Hiding from your father?" Heero returned, giving the boy a quick assessing look over before returning to his mail. Not too disheveled, but disheveled none-the-less. He was eternally thankful Whispering Pines was a couple miles away from Emerald Gardens, and internally surprised they'd still not felt the falling out that he was sure had taken place this morning at the Winner residence.
Tristan grinned and scratched the back of his head. "Yeah, well, about that. Dad mentioned it, and I gotta admit, it's pretty good idea, so I'm gonna head on outta town for a little while and let him calm down some."
"Hn." Quatre had had over a full month to "calm down." Heero really didn' t see the point of giving the blond business tycoon an extra weekend.
"I was thinking of taking Mara Jade with me," Tristan added, snatching Heero 's attention back again.
The Japanese father frowned at the blond young man, blue eyes narrowing suspiciously. "For how long?"
"Oh, I don't know," Tristan hedged. "Until Mara Jade agrees to marry me? Until the baby's born? Until my dad calms down? Which ever comes first..."
Heero just snorted at the boy, once again returning to his mail. "Have her back by Sunday night," he told the boy, not needing to look to know the other was grinning.
"I think I can do that. Thanks Uncle Hee-oh! And Dad mentioned something about you guys moving back in with us. I think that's a great idea!"
Tristan was out the door before Heero could counter him. He frowned and grunted before shaking his head. "I told Trowa I'd *mentioned* it," he griped. "Not that I'd agree to it." The Japanese man sighed and gave up on checking his mail, let alone making any replies, thinking that the years around their manipulative blond husband had begun to wear off on Trowa as he went out in search of Duo and Wufei.
He barely knocked on her bedroom door before Tristan walked in and pulled a sleeping Mara Jade up in bed.
"What are you doing?" she mumbled sleepily.
"Come on, we need to get you packed," Tristan replied, leaving her to go scrounge through her closet for something suitable for her to bring. "We're going on a trip."
Mara Jade yawned and scrubbed the sleep from her eyes, watching him through blurry vision. "Where?"
"It's a surprise."
"Then I don't want to go," she replied, flopping back into her warm, soft, cozy bed.
"Sure you do!" Tristan answered, dragging her back up.
She resisted, whining his name "Tristan."
He kissed her, effectively and pleasantly silencing her. Slowly he pressed farther until both were laying on the bed engaged in a heavy make out session. "I want to take you somewhere," he said after the extended play, fingers brushing her side through the cotton nightshirt as he stared and smiled into her face. "Come with me?"
She didn't want to open her eyes and get out of bed and start another day so soon, but she did. after snuggling up against him a little bit longer.
"You won't regret this," he promised, kissing her lips with another smile.
Two hours later, sitting in the co-pilot's seat in the cockpit of one of WEI's private jets Mara Jade asked for about the five hundredth time, "Are you sure?"
In the pilot's seat, Tristan just grinned and winked at her as he flew through the pre-flight check. "Ready for lift off?"
"Sure, why not?" Mara Jade replied sourly.
She'd been up in the cockpit of jets and shuttles before so there was nothing new or really exciting for her. With three going on five fathers who were all pilots it was kind of expected that she know her way around the consol before her. Still, flying just never was her thing. Tristan, on the other hand. he might as well have been born in a cockpit. She could still remember his father's face when they found out Tristan had 'borrowed' a WEI jet and was practicing crazy stunts that could've very easily gotten him killed. The boy beside her had been eleven at that time, but the look on his face now made her wonder if anything had changed in his attitude about flying in the last ten years.
Somewhere in the back of Mara Jade's thoughts she remembered one of her fathers commenting on Duo's passion for piloting and another snatch of memory of someone teasing Tristan's heredity-Quatre and Duo's love child is what they'd said. He wasn't, of course-that would have been too weird. It was bad enough that technically their five fathers were married to each other, but if she and Tristan were actually related by blood-!
"A 1000 credits for your thoughts?" Tristan's voice broke into her revelry. He seemed to be laughing at her without really laughing. They were already 300 meters in the air and climbing.
Mara Jade snuffed and huffed, but replied, "Just wondering where you're intending to kidnap me to."
He seemed to find that funny and did laugh at her then. "Oh, kidnapping is it, now?" He grinned in the face of her scowl, completely unintimidated. "Tell you what, I'll let you enter the coordinates." And he did, rattling off the sequence without having to look at any reference.
Mara Jade frowned, looking at him with puzzlement. "These coordinates take us to the North African coast."
"Yep."
"What's there?" Her tone implied the answer: Nothing. The sands of its desert had swallowed the northern coast of the continent in the passing centuries. But Tristan's answer surprised her.
He looked out the windshield, eyes looking at something far away, and whispered, "Home."
