Naked by Chauni

Poem

To you, my koi
My hellbound grace,
I give you the pregnant moon
But it’s stained crimson with blood
Just like the hands that are bestowing it
Unto your hollow eyes and false grin.

To you, my koi
My scarlet angel wing
I give you my life
But its cold, and its dead
And mortality is just a fleeting memory
In the red haze of maroon death.

To you, my koi
My secret kamikaze lust
I give you my war
Where children are toy soldiers
Holding murdering cap guns on front lines
And dancing camouflage with glitter war paint.

And, to you, my koi
My faithless savior
I give you my martyrdom
The Shadow in the Valley misses me
And no one calls out my name on gusts of life.
Valleys turn to mountains, and in there, I lie.

Naked
I give myself to you.
