Well, I actually finished a series. Yatta! Scary huh? Yes, I know no one is reading this, but I'm going to ramble anyway so deal. Sorry this part took so long, but the first revenge took forever to write (three weeks). It is so hard to find my EVIL mood when I want it. Relena fans you will NOT like this. You have been warned! I have not had a chance to deeply edit this so there will be mistakes. Please forgive them.
Disclaimer: I don't own GW. I'm poor. This story is for entertainment only. This fic has yaoi and yuri. If you can't deal with that, don't read the fic! Simple, ne? Questions and comments are welcome, however, be polite. So here we go!
Zechs woke to the feel of strong arms around him and warmth on either side. Confusion swamped his mind for several seconds as he tried to reconcile what he felt with his memories. There was the party and feeling too warm and the bathroom and Duo... DUO?! Oh God what had he done? With a low groan, he opened his eyes.
A smiling violet gaze met his.
"Morning lover," Duo cheerfully whispered.
Zechs stared in disbelief. He had... with Duo and... they had... oh shit! He was a dead man. The young noble tried to push himself away from the pilot only to find he had forgotten something: the person behind him.
"Good morning," Heero growled, beginning to nibble on the startled man's neck and tightening his grip.
Seeing Zechs' wide-eyed surprise, Duo laughed. "Easy, Heero. Remember how disoriented you were the morning after?"
With muffled assent, Heero released Zechs. The noble sat straight up and turned to face the two men in his bed. Memories returned with a vengeance. He had been drugged by his half-wit of a sister and these two... with a groan, Zechs covered his face with one hand and flopped back on the bed. He'd had mind-blowing sex with Heero and Duo. A sudden urge to giggle seized the tall blond. Pushing it down, Zechs found it replaced with a strong sense of regret. The pilots would leave now. Once more there would be nothing but emptiness in his life. Well, it was what he deserved, wasn't it?
"Damn," Duo voice broke the chain of thought, "look at the time!" It was almost ten a.m. "What time did you say brunch would be served, Zechs?"
"I believe it was at eleven," he answered, amazed that his voice held none of the pain he was feeling.
"I'll go get us some clothes, Duo." Heero volunteered grabbing a bathrobe. "You two might want to consider getting cleaned up." As the Perfect Soldier reached the door, he turned to Duo. "Tell him." The tone made it an order. Zechs looked at Duo. Tell him what? There was no chance to ask the Wing pilot; he was gone and the door closed behind him.
"Tell me what?"
"How much do you know about Tsunami, Zechs?"
"More than I ever wanted to," came the embarrassed reply.
"Please, Zechs," Duo's serious tone was underscored by a gentle hand on the noble's arm. "This is important."
"Very well. Lady Une had a group of scientists create it. I think the original purpose was as a morale destroyer. When Treize found out, he ordered the drug and all the research destroyed. He thought it dishonorable. As far as I know, that was the end of the matter. At least until today."
"You already told me that much."
"Sorry. It's all I know."
"What about test subjects?"
"You mean humans? There were never any..." The denial died on Zechs' lips as he saw the expression on Duo's face. "Oh, Duo. You?"
"No, not exactly." Duo ran a hand through his hair. Heero wanted Zechs to know, but damn it was so hard. "Remember when Wufei, Heero, and I were all prisoners of OZ?" Seeing a nod he continued. "Une saw Heero was an incredible pilot. Being a smart woman, she knew he would never willingly fight for them."
"So she decided to break him." Zechs supplied.
"Yeah. After Trowa and Heero came back from looking for Quatre, Une had Heero taken to the infirmary. He thought the shot was some sort of vitamin supplement; that's what they told him, anyway. By the time they'd reached the cell, Heero knew something was wrong. He told me it felt like his blood was on fire. Une ordered the guards to take Heero's cuffs off and hold him. There they were, standing outside our cell, and she told him everything." Duo gave a soft snort. "We heard Heero's yell even through the metal walls. Scariest sound I have ever heard."
"He knew neither of you would stand a chance against him." Zechs whispered in shock. How would that feel? To know that you were going to violate your comrades? Helpless to stop it from happening. The older man shuddered. It would have been even worse for Heero, a person taught to be in control every moment. "So what happened?"
"Well, Heero is stronger than any three of us together. To say that he didn't like what Une told him would be a major understatement. Almost managed to get his hands around her neck. Almost. She laughed as they guards threw him in with us. God, you should have seen his face, Zechs. I really thought he was going to kill us. He just stood there staring at us. Wufei took one step to put himself between Heero and me and that seemed to decide him." Duo stopped. A slight smile touched his lips. "Heero can move like the wind when he wants to, Zechs. Two seconds after Wufei moved, he was sprawled unconscious on the floor. Then Heero turned to me.
I'd never been that afraid before. Heero pounced on me. That's the only way to really explain what he did. Damn bastard knocked me flat on my back, pinned my hands over my head, and began kissing me; all in one smooth move. Banged my head on the ground."
"It must have terrified you."
"Oh yeah. Strange thing was I wanted Heero to touch me. Even back then, I was falling in love with him. Finally, just short of suffocating me, he broke the kiss. We lay there panting for a few seconds and then Heero told me what that bitch had done to him."
"And you just believed him?"
"Yeah. One look at the guy and I knew something was way wrong. Heero was rock hard and trembling. Can you imagine Heero trembling?" Zechs had to admit the mental image just didn't want to form. "He told me I had a choice. I could kill him or let him take me. Really romantic. You see, Zechs, if the drug isn't burned out of a person's system, it can cause permanent insanity. Heero would rather be dead than mad. I wasn't about to lose him, so I told him to go ahead.
He tried to be gentle, but we had nothing to make it easier. I ended up bleeding. Despite everything, I have never regretted what happened. Wufei woke up during the whole thing. He looked like he was going to kill Heero. Well you can imagine what he thought was going on. I had to convince him that I was not being raped, so I cried out Heero's name. Wufei rolled over and tried to pretend we weren't having sex.
The next morning, Heero woke up very confused. There was blood on the ground and my clothes were a little torn. After a few minutes, he'd pretty much convinced himself that he'd raped me. Took forever to make him understand. Thankfully, Wufei threw his two cents in. He told Heero about my calling his name and that I had stopped him from killing Heero. We've been together ever since.
Same goes for you, Zechs. What happened was our choice. You didn't make us do anything we didn't want. There's something you should know as well. Neither Heero nor I do casual, Zechs. Think about that."
"Duo," the noble began. He was stopped by Heero's return.
"Get a bath Duo," The Japanese man commanded, throwing a set of clothes at the American. "We don't have time to wait for you to dry your hair."
"Nag, nag, nag."
After Duo got the water running, Heero turned to Zechs. His expression was deadly serious.
"Did he tell you what happened?"
"Yes."
"Then maybe you will understand how I feel about this. Relena is a good leader. So far, anyway. However, what she tried to do to Duo is so far beyond acceptable I don't even have words for it. I would kill to protect Duo. I mean that."
"I know you do, Heero. Killing Relena would cause more harm than good, though."
Heero held up a hand to forestall all the arguments he knew were coming. "Before we talk about your sister we need to discuss you."
Zechs sighed. Here it came. The inevitable speech where Heero would demand Zechs never go near Duo again. 'Better to just get it over with,' the older man thought. 'It would be less painful if I say it.'
"Heero, I have no intention of trying to take Duo from you, even if such a thing were possible. Once you leave my house, I swear you will never hear from me again."
The former OZ officer had intended to say more, but the look in Heero's face silenced him. The young Japanese looked stunned and amused.
"Zechs, that is not what I was going to say. Now sit down and shut up." Not surprisingly, Zechs did. Few people argued with a smiling Heero. "I do not have casual encounters. For a long time now, both Duo and myself have been noticing you. Neither of us thought such a thing would be possible, until last night. We talked after you fell asleep." Zechs felt hope surge through his body, but fought it down. This couldn't be what he thought it was.
"If you are interested, we wouldn't mind giving this a try."
"By 'this' I take it you mean a relationship." Zechs chose his words carefully.
"Yes. I won't lie to you. It may not work out. However, nothing ventured, nothing gained and I think we have a great deal to gain and nothing to lose."
"What about my sister?"
"I have a plan. One that should get her off our backs for good and maybe make her think about the consequences of her actions."
"I am all ears."
By the time Heero had finished explaining his plan, Zechs was caught between laughter and horror. It was a devious and frightening idea and would most likely work. Provided Duo went along. Speaking of the longhaired pilot, a soft, sultry voice could be heard emanating from the bathroom.
"What if Duo doesn't want to help?" Zechs asked.
"He will. Relena has spent the last two years making him miserable. If he wants to be difficult, well I'm sure we can find a way to convince him." Heero's face twisted into a leer. "Perhaps we should join him in the bathroom. We could save time and water."
Zechs could tell time and water weren't the only things on the pilot's mind. Having seen Duo in the shower before, though, Zechs couldn't fault his logic. Duo made a lovely sight with all that water streaming over his delicate skin. A shower right now seemed like a very good idea.
"After you, Heero."
Shortly after the two entered the bathroom a voice could be heard.
"Heero? Zechs? What are you two...ooohhhh!"
Eventually, all the men were showered and dressed. Zechs called his butler to the room and explained what Heero had planned. The man had been with him for many years and didn't give a damn about Zechs' sexual preferences. The man considered Zechs to be a good human being and once he learned what Relena had done, there was nothing anyone could have said to make him not go along with the plan.
Inside ten minutes, the men had everything they would need. All the servants were in on it. No one would interfere. It was time for the Queen of the World to learn her lesson.
Relena sat in the Dining Room looking for all the world very calm. Inside she was seething. How could they have escaped her plan? It had been so perfect. Well, it didn't matter. She would just have to find another way to get Heero away from Duo. Eventually, the Japanese pilot had to see the light.
Her thoughts were interrupted by a most unwelcome source when Duo Maxwell walked in. At first, she was going to ignore the little pervert, but something about him was out of place. His hair, which was normally neatly braided, hung from his head in a messy ponytail. A closer inspection showed other out of place features.
Duo, a graceful young man, was limping like he was in pain. His eyes darted back and forth like a hunted animal. Then Relena saw something that shocked her. Duo turned his head and exposed part of his neck; all along that white throat were bruises, hand shaped bruises. Someone had hurt Duo.
"Duo," Relena said quietly.
The pilot spun around like someone had fired a gun at him. "Oh, hi, Relena. Didn't see you standing there."
His voice held none of its usual cheerfulness.
"Duo, is everything OK?"
"Everything's fine, Relena. Why wouldn't things be fine?" Duo babbled on for another few moments. Relena realized the American was lying to her. But why?
"Duo." A voice echoed through the house. Heero's voice. Normally, Relena would have almost jumped for joy at hearing it, but the effect it had on Duo forestalled any elation. The young man turned to face the doorway with an expression of pure terror.
"Oh, God." Duo grabbed Relena's arm and began to pull her toward the window.
"What do you think you are doing?" She all but hissed at him.
"He can't find me with you. Not after I snuck out. He'll think I told you." Duo's voice was low and frantic. It caught and held the young woman's attention.
"What is going on, Maxwell?" Her temper was reaching its end as Duo tried to stuff her behind a curtain.
"Please, Relena. No matter what you hear, don't come out. I won't be able to protect you."
"Protect me? What kind of trick is this?" Did the fool actual think she would ever believe Heero would harm her? However, the look on Duo's face and the abject fear in his voice when he next spoke, gave Relena pause.
"For the love of God, Relena. Stay hidden." Then he was gone. She was just about to chase after him when Heero's voice, and hence Heero, entered the room. He'd never sounded so cold before.
"Here you are, Duo."
"I-I was hungry. I didn't get a chance to eat much last night." Duo sounded terrified.
"Did I give you permission to leave?"
"Please, Heero. I just wanted something to eat." Relena had never heard Duo beg before. Not ever.
Heero laughed. It was possibly the most sinister and unpleasant sound Relena had ever heard.
"You've been bad, my love, and bad boys must be punished." There was a small thud followed by someone whimpering. Relena carefully looked around the curtain.
Heero had pushed Duo against the wall and was forcefully kissing him. The shocking thing was the American was fighting to get Heero off him. When Heero broke the kiss, his lips curled into a feral smile. Duo was crying.
"I'll be good. I swear. Just please don't hurt me anymore. Please, Heero."
Relena felt her blood freeze. Heero hurt Duo? Deep in her mind, ideas began to take shape.
"Does he always give you this much trouble, Heero?" Zechs entered. Relief washed over Relena. Her brother would work this out. Duo, however, seemed even more frightened than before. More whimpers drifted from him.
"Well you did give him quite a nice scare and a set of bruises last night."
"Yes, but he was such a wonderful ride. And to think I would never have discovered how incredible Duo is if my idiot sister hadn't drugged me." The noble's soft laughter did nothing to ease the growing ache in Relena's chest. She was responsible for those bruises on Duo's neck?
"Duo is amazing. That's why I'm never letting him go. You can borrow him once in a while if you like. Last night was really fun."
"Maybe you think so," Duo hissed.
"And do you have objections to what we did, Duo?" Heero's tone suggested he didn't give a damn either way.
"Why do you do this to me, Heero?" Duo all but whispered. "You know how I feel."
"And how do you feel?" Zechs had to ask.
Duo faced Zechs with what seemed all the strength he had left. "I like girls. I don't like guys. I don't like being touched by them and I sure as hell hate getting fucked by them!"
Zechs' response was to grab Duo's hair, yank back his head, and kiss the American. "Too bad," The blond noble laughed.
Behind the curtain, a young woman was going through a personal crisis. Duo was STRAIGHT? He didn't like guys? But that would mean...it would mean...Heero was forcing him. The ideas deep inside began to solidify.
"How do you keep him from getting away, Heero?" Her brother asked the same question swimming in Relena's mind.
"Oh, he's tried to kill himself before and even ran away a couple of times. He understands better now. He belongs to me. Don't you, Duo?"
Relena wanted Duo to fight, to yell, to deny the terrible statement. Instead, Duo meekly bowed his head.
"Yes, Heero. I belong to you."
"Show Zechs."
Duo slowly rolled up his sleeves and opened his shirt. Relena had to cover her mouth to keep from gasping. The young man's chest was a mass of purple bruises and old scars. His arms bore twin scars running from wrist to elbow. Sometime in the past, Duo Maxwell had tried to kill himself. Bruises also covered his arms. The worst horror for Relena, however, was the color of the bruises. Most of them were at least a week old, but the biggest and ugliest ones could only be a few hours old.
"And what will happen if you try anything as stupid as this again," Heero questioned, running a finger along one of the scars on Duo's arms causing the other man to shiver.
The absolute defeat in Duo's voice shook Relena as much as the blatant statement. "You'll kill the people I care about. Quatre, Wufei."
"And don't forget that bitch Hilde."
This time Duo did react. Anger clouded his face and gave him strength. "Leave her out of this. She has nothing to do with this. I just wanted to get something to eat. You two hurt me pretty bad last night. Is it so much to ask to be allowed to eat!"
Relena staggered. Last night? Duo had gone to help Zechs when her brother had left the table so unexpectedly. Was that what happened? No other explanation fit. Zechs had given those bruises to Duo while raping him. Raping him because of a drug she had accidental given Zechs.
Another sudden thought brought the proud young woman to her knees. From the way Heero talked, the Japanese pilot knew about it and had helped. Worse, it sounded like Heero raped Duo often. Her attention was drawn back to the drama unfolding before her by her brother's shocked voice.
"Where did that come from?"
Heero's face held no surprise at the outburst. "Oh, didn't I tell you? Duo is in love with Hilde. When he first escaped me, he ran straight to her. It took me three weeks to find him. Tell us, Duo, my love, what will happen if you ever leave me again or I die."
Defeat once again claimed the longhaired pilot's face. "You or someone you've already paid will kill Hilde and the others. Their deaths will be on my head."
"So that's how you control him. Brilliant, Heero."
"It doesn't change the fact that he's a cowardly rapist." Duo hissed.
Heero punched Duo in the stomach and stepped back to let the young man fall. "You really need to learn some manners, dear."
Tears ran from Duo's eyes. "Why can't you just let me die? I don't love you. I hate what you do to me. Why can't you just let me go?" The American pilot collapsed in a sobbing heap. "Why?"
Heero stroked the chestnut hair gently. "Because I love you."
Relena almost threw up. How could she have thought this man was her soulmate? The ideas in the back of her mind suddenly solidified. In all those pictures of Heero and Duo together, not once was the American on top. Heero always used him and not the other way around. The heart-shaped face did not hold an expression of ecstasy, but rather agony. She had let her personal obsession cloud her judgment. Duo almost always wore long sleeve shirts with high necks. Now she understood why: to cover the scars and marks left by his rapist.
Duo had shot Heero to protect her. He suffered now to protect those he loved. All these years she made his life a living hell and he took it because it kept her safe. Heero would never consider her a threat to his secret as long as she chased the Perfect Soldier. Even when Heero had come for him, Duo still protected her. He hid her. Taking time he could have used to run or hide himself.
'Oh, God, Duo, I am so sorry. I didn't know,' she thought frantically.
'Nor did you care.' Her conscience needled. 'You were so busy blaming him for Heero not loving you. Did you ever once really look at Duo? Consider his feelings? No. You acted like a spoiled brat and look what it's gotten you. Now poor Duo has to deal with Zechs as well as Heero. Your selfishness has made his miserable life even worse. And there is nothing you can do to change anything.'
'I know,' Relena sobbed silently. 'I know.' How could she have done this? 'I'm such a fool. More than a fool. A monster. I did everything in my power to destroy an innocent because of my jealousy. I'm so sorry, Duo. So sorry.'
Zechs picked up the sobbing young pilot. "Let's go back to the room, Heero. I've thought of some interesting things we can do."
'No," Duo struggled briefly against the older man. "Please. I'm hurt. You hurt me last night. I can't. Please."
"Don't worry, Duo." Heero whispered fiercely. "You'll learn to like it."
The last Relena saw of the once strong and proud pilot of Shinigami was his eyes. They looked right at her. In them, she saw a mixture of relief that she was safe, terror of the two men who were taking him away, and a horrible emptiness that told her something in Duo had just broken. For a very long time, the only sounds in Dining Room were the heartbroken sobs of the young Queen.
Meanwhile, in another part of the house, a certain young blond pilot was trying not to hyperventilate. Quatre awoke earlier to a feeling of security. Strong arms circled his waist and chest. It felt really good. The more conscious he became, however, the more things seemed out of place.
First, warmth was coming from either side of him. Second, instead of two arms around him, Quatre could feel four. Finally, he could feel someone's head resting against his back. Not so bad really, except that Quatre himself was snuggled against someone's chest.
Being a very bright person, the Arabian came to the only conclusion possible under the circumstances. Slowly opening his eyes, the pilot found, once again, he was right. One bronzed arm draped across his chest, while a pale, long arm trailed down his thigh. Wufei and Trowa. He was in bed with Wufei and Trowa! Fully conscious now, Quatre became aware of an ache inside him. Breathing suddenly became a struggle.
'I didn't. Did I?' He thought frantically. Forcing his breathing to still, Quatre tried to remember last night. Everything was jumbled together. Methodically, the young man began to order his memories. The wine had been bad. He had begun to imagine things. A blush covered his cheeks as he recalled what the visions had entailed. What else?
The evening's events washed over him. Quatre wasn't prepared for the pain that followed the memories. Trowa and Wufei weren't here by their choice. They were here because of pity. A small sob escaped the blond's lips. Wiping tears from his eyes, Quatre tried to get out of bed without waking the other men. It turned out to be harder than he thought. Both men were awake.
"Going somewhere," Trowa said and ran his hand along Quatre's inner thigh.
"You weren't thinking of just leaving us here, were you?" Wufei breathed into his ear.
"Please don't pretend," Quatre whispered dejectedly. The charade was over. Why did they insist on continuing it?
The two men sighed. At least Quatre wasn't yelling for them to get out. All they had to do was convince the little blond of their feelings.
"Quatre, do you remember what happened last night?" Trowa asked.
Quatre nodded. "Someone put something in my drink. You and Wufei helped me." He ducked his head. "You were very kind."
"It wasn't just kindness, Quatre. We wanted you." Wufei said gently. How would the Arabian react when he learned the truth? "We didn't want your first time to be like that and I promise you the person responsible will pay, however, nothing changes the fact that we have wanted you for a very long time."
"You want me? Like that?" Quatre's eyes had gone wide as he considered Wufei's statement.
Laughing softly, Trowa answered. "Yes."
"But I thought you and Wufei... I mean you've been together for so long. Why now?"
"We had things to work out. Neither of us would ever hurt you intentionally, but we had to make sure we wouldn't hurt you unintentionally. Do you understand?" Trowa hoped he did.
Quatre concentrated for a minute. His heart felt the emotions from each man. They were telling the truth. Quatre wasn't alone anymore.
"Oh thank you," he cried. Throwing his arms around Trowa, Quatre buried his head in the tall man's shoulder. All the things they'd said last night were real. No more loneliness. The men he loved returned the emotion. The young man had just been gifted with the most precious of gifts, love.
"Well," Wufei said, "perhaps this will work out. How are you feeling, Quatre?" The Asian man ran his hand along the others thighs as he asked the question.
"F-fine." Came the distracted reply. Trowa and Wufei shared a heated look.
"Good." Trowa took the blond's mouth. They weren't going to tell Quatre about what was planned for Relena. It would just worry their gentle partner. Then the said gentle partner began to massage Trowa in the most erotic fashion and all coherent thoughts abandoned the room for a long time.
By late afternoon Relena had gone. The young lady left a hurried note claiming a government problem. No one was sorry to see her go. The day dragged on without event and finally it was time for the pilots to say goodbye to one another again. Heero and Duo would be moving in with Zechs soon and Wufei, Trowa, and Quatre had a standing invitation to stop by anytime.
Three weeks later found Trowa and Wufei living in one of Quatre's houses that wasn't more than a thirty-minute drive from Zechs'. Almost every weekend found the six of them together. Sometimes in more ways than one.
Duo had begun to receive weekly gifts in the mail. Each one contained something rare and unique to the pilot's own tastes. Boxes of his favorite manga, a lifetime's supply of his favorite candy, or a gift certificate for a thousand dollars at a music store. Heero had no further visits from Relena.
Several months after the birthday disaster, the Queen of the World received a bottle of wine in the mail. It came from the leader of a colony she had recently negotiated a trade agreement for. She decided to share the wine with Dorothy over dinner. It was such a thoughtful gift.
Late that night, Paragan, Relena's butler and driver, heard some very strange sounds coming from the Dining Room. He was very surprised to find the doors closed. With great care, the old man placed his ear against the door. His eyes widened comically and then he hurried away, a very deep blush on his wrinkled cheeks. Inside the room, two voices filled the air.
"Oh, Dorothy, harder. Please!"
"Yes! Relena touch me there again!" Sounds of pleasure punctuated each statement.
Revenge is complete.
The End
Now I know what you're thinking: Where the hell's the lemon? Right? Saving it for the sidestory: Unexpected Peace part 5. It will be a over the top lemon and I may just send it only to the people who ask for it. Either that or slap a ton and a half of warnings all over the thing. Oh well. Hope you enjoyed the fic.
