05 Dec 1999 Please help me out with this one. It needs a new title and some work. Comments will be more than appreciated. Be nice, though. P. S. It's long. Gomen. Thanks. Enjoy. Disclaimer: I don’t own the Gundam Wing characters. I have no money so please don’t get upset. This story takes place about twenty years after the Gundam Wing story ends. The colony in rebellion is Mars. They finally made it a habitable world. Needless to say this is an alternate universe fic. No flames please. I will only laugh at you. If you have something constructive or nice to say, then please do. Finally, if you have a problem with yaoi, (and if you don’t know what that is after reading the warnings on this site, you need to go back to school) this is not the fic for you. To make it even clearer: This story contains M/M relationships. I.E. guys who like guys. If you still are unclear on the content of this fic, please wait here for further instructions. If you are not 18, come back when you are. In other words, goodbye. This is part one of a series. I will finish as quickly as possible, but as with most things, encouragement works wonders. Anyway, I hope you enjoy my little effort in fanfiction. Send me suggestions for a better title. And now: The New Generation by Phoenix Prologue They stood silently in the corner. One was tall with black bat wings, while the other had white angels’ wings. Two shadowy figures intently watching a lone figure working in a Gundam’s pilot chamber. That figure was a young woman with a long chestnut braid. She seemed to be wearing a headset/mic device and was constantly speaking into it, then checking something on the main computer. The young woman was oblivious of the two figures watching her. "We should never have let her be born," the light angel grumbled. "You worry too much koi," the dark one laughed. "Everything will work out. You’ll see." "Maybe I don’t have your faith in people, especially when it comes to HIM." The dark angel shuddered and moved closer the light angel. Light encircled darkness seeking to give comfort. "Sorry, but it needs to be said." "Neither father fell for his tricks. Why are you so certain she will?" "I just have a bad feeling is all. If she falls, everything will go to hell. All that work." The statement was finished with a sigh as he folded white wings around his lover. The dark one snuggled back against his shoulder in response. He knew it was a risk allowing the girl to be born, but then Death knew all about risks. She was one last chance. For both sides. "Let’s go before she senses us," darkness purred. "You have ulterior motives," the light laughed. "Always, lover, always." As they faded from sight the girl suddenly siffened and swung around, pistol in hand and ready. There was nothing there. ‘Could have sworn.....Oh well.’ The girl went back to work. So much to do, so little time. If only she knew how true that statement was.
