God help me! I can't get this idea out of my head. Whimper. This is not my fault....it was all those blasted squick posts. Blame them.

Disclaimer: I don't own GW. I'm poor. (And not legally insane. Just read the fic. You'll understand.) This story is for entertainment only and don't ask me why I wrote it. (I have no idea myself.) It contains squick and yaoi.

Generational Desires by Phoenix

Part One

Heero lay curled in his lover's arms marveling in the sensation. This was one thing he'd never expected to feel again. His beautiful lover had been a target during each of the wars and even a witch hunt in the two years following the second one. The Japanese pilot understood, though. Sometimes people needed to blame someone; that didn't mean they were guilty.

Yet, as time went on, something bothered Heero. There was a desire growing in his heart and not matter how hard he tired to deny it, it was still there. Still unsure of his own emotions, the young man long contemplated telling his lover what he was feeling. Fear always followed those thoughts. What if this beautiful creature besides him decided to leave because of his confession? What would he do? He loved this man too much to give him up. At the same time, he loved him too much to keep this from him. With a heartfelt sigh, Heero started talking.

"Please listen to everything I have to say before you do anything," Heero begged. "it is hard enough for me to say this without the fear you will leave in the middle." The other occupant of the bed nodded slowly and gave Heero his full attention. "When I first came to Earth, all I had was my mission. No human emotions, thoughts, or cares. Just the mission. Don't interrupt. My lack of humanity was to protect me. It kept me safe and focused. The best way to survive a war.

"Then I met Relena and Duo. They were like bright lights in my life and I was a moth drawn to them. Relena became a symbol of everything I hoped the future would hold, but Duo," he paused and looked searchingly at his lover, "Duo became an obsession. He was so beautiful, alive, and insane. I tried to see him only as another pilot; a resource for missions; eventually as just a friend. But I can't." A tear ran slowly down Heero's cheek. "I keep thinking about him. He's so lovely and lonely right now. I swear I would never be unfaithful to you. In all the fantasies, it's the three of us together. I would never leave you and I just had to tell you. I'm so confused. If I love you, how can I be thinking about Duo? How can I be thinking about screwing that loudmouthed American through the mattress while you're doing the same to me? How?"

Finally running out of words, Heero turned tear filled cobalt eyes to his lover and waited for him to leave, or yell, or something to punish the young man for his infidelity. Instead, the man ran a careful hand over the pilot's face and gently brushed away the tears.

"Heero, there is nothing to be ashamed of," his lover's voice filled the room. "I've been thinking about Duo myself of late. Don't look so shocked. He's very pretty and with a body like that, has to be good in bed." This earned a laugh from Heero. "I am not upset; I'm intrigued. Especially by the screwing through the mattress idea. If dear Duo is so lonely, I suggest you invite him over and together we can see about bringing our fantasies to life."

Heero smiled, amazed. He loved this man with all his heart and was certain Duo would as well. The next week ended in a four day weekend; a perfect time to invite the braided pilot over and convince him. Feeling relieved, Heero snuggled into Doctor J's chest and fell into a peaceful sleep.
