Diversion, n. 1. ii kibarashi, amusing distraction, pastime.
I think Duo is one of those creatures who absorbs everything around him - emotions, attitudes, abilities - it all seems to settle in him somehow. Not to say he is some kind of chameleon, able to perfectly emulate the talents of others, but he has enthusiasm and he tries, which accounts for a great deal of his appeal.
Now is a good example of that.
He's over on the mats, standing next to Wufei, perfectly mimicking the swordsman's moves, minus the sword.
Duo wants to learn to wield a blade. And he wants Wufei to teach him.
Wufei, of course, has nearly disgraced himself with pure, unadulterated joy at this fortuitous turn of events.
Heero doesn't know a thing about this.
Yet.
I just hope I don't have to cart home a bloody carcass when Heero does find out.
I've just detailed my car.
Hmm...
I could just lash him to the roof rack.
