Pata, pata, pata, went the rain.
Fuyuka looked out the window holding Mr. Teddy in front of her. Then she got off the bed and went to Heero and Duo, who were drinking coffee and watching football. "Daddy, Mr. Teddy needs a raincoat."
"Fuyuka, you can't take him outside. He'll get wet, then he'll get moldy and stinky," said Duo.
"That's why he needs a raincoat. He's cold."
"Fuyuka, stay in the kitchen. It's much warmer in here," said Duo.
"But what about Mr. Teddy?"
Heero put down his cup and said, "Give me Mr. Teddy and I'll dress him up."
Fuyuka gave him the bear. He put the bear under his arm and went out of the kitchen.
"Want some cocoa?" said Duo.
Fuyuka nodded.
Heero took the bear to the guestroom where they stored all of Fuyuka's old clothes. He smiled as he looked at the small infant clothes. Hard to believe she was that small, he thought. Smaller than this bear.
Finally, he found a parka with a hood that was in good condition, some little mittens and some booties. There, that should do it. Wanting to dress up her teddy bear to keep it warm, he thought. It makes me want to laugh, and I want to laugh at myself for going along with it. But that's all right, it's good to laugh. He dressed the bear in her old clothes and got up to go to the kitchen.
