Title: Rage

Notes: *cough* Um... I was thinking last night about Heero's probable reaction if another war started (given his feelings at the end of EW) and this is the result.

Damn you, damn you all!
Damned be all who heed war's call!
Damned you are and damned I am
And damn this gun that's in my hand!
I thought at last that free I'd be -
Another war I'd never see.
Ten long years of peace so sweet,
Not one death that I must mete.
And you accursed hell-spawn whores
Must start another fucking war!
An oath I swore one Christmas Eve
That no more lives I'd ever reave.
And then you came and broke the peace
And opened wounds that time did ease.
With peace the kill-pain did abate,
But now I know it did but wait.
And now it's back and worse than ever
Because I'd thought it gone forever.
My rage and pain I cannot sate -
This 'Perfect Soldier' has learned to hate.
