"Hi, Heero!" Quatre waved, stepping into the living room. "Wow, neat."
"Thanks." Heero nodded, watching his friend admire the huge house. "Dr. J left me a fortune in his will. Would you like a tour?"
"Sure. How did he die again?"
Heero led the other young man toward the backyard, stopping to pick up a box of Hohos on the way. "Freak bowling accident. G released the ball the wrong way and it hit J in the head. We were all... saddened."
The backyard was actually a full Japanese garden, with delicate plants everywhere. Heero walked up to a small pond, ringed in stones.
Quatre watched in amazement as Heero unwrapped the Hohos and tossed them into the water.
A second later, Duo's head broke the surface. "Thanks. I was starving!" He snatched up the food and dove back under.
Heero glanced over at Quatre, who was staring at him in shock.
"Why?" Heero asked. "What do you keep in YOUR koi pond?"
