Relena leveled the gun at Duo and clenched her eyes shut, "I'm sorry..." She pressed her finger to the trigger and...
"I can't. Duo, please tell me what is wrong," she saw, dropping her arm to her side.
Duo looked as if he was gaining some measure of control and sat with a thump.
"I don't know. I just know that when I was captured a while back..."
~Duo lay in a dark cell. Fluidy coughs wracked his body from time to time.
"Gyet up," came the gruff voice of the guard, "There's som'un here ta see ya."
The cell door opened and a man dressed in a doctor's scrub walked into the harsh light.
"Duo Maxwell, you are to do exactly what I tell you or you will be terminated."
Duo complied. They led him to a room and sedated him...~
"...what they did <shrug>, I just know that after that I began to have these really horrible nightmares about *me* killing my friends..." Duo shivered and Relena looked at him, deep in thought.
After a time, she spoke, "Duo, do you think it could be some kind of brain washing or some biochemical thingy?"
Duo shrugged again, "I don't know, Sally might..."
" 'Yes, that might be what we're looking at here... Yes, OZ was reported to be testing some new fangled biochem weapon... but... no... I'll let Heero know... he's been looking for that baka... Goodbye...' " Sally turned to the boy standing beside her.
Wufei looked at the woman with intrest, "What is it?"
"Duo's acting strange..."
"When is he ever acting normal?"
"No, Wufei, he tried to kill Relena... and was saying something about being tampered with..." Sally looked thoughtful, "Relena's bringing him in. I need to get the testing equipment ready. Could you inform Heero?"
"You will not use me as your errand boy, woman."
Sally rolled her eyes, then sweetly, "Please?"
"Woman!" he threatened.
"Come on, Wufei. This is important."
"Fine..." he stormed out the door to his jeep and took off toward Heero's place.
"... so what you're saying is that he's in trouble..."
"I guess. All I was told was to get you, Yuy. Nothing more. Are you coming or not?"
"Of course..." Heero's face was stern, but his eyes held concern.
Sally began hooking him up just as soon as they got in the door.
"Ok, Duo... just sit still and we'll find out what the Hell is wrong with you..."
"Right... lets just get this over with..."
