Silence is a melody
Endless as the sea
Overwhelming any sound
Flowing endlessly.

Silence is a fragile thing
One so precious, too,
Broken by a sweet caress
Or soft word said by you.

Silence is all I've ever had,
But that is soon to change
For now I found a sweeter thing,
That to which I cling.

Silence is a melody
Broken but a kiss
Overwhelmed by the sweetest sound
That I never want to miss.
