Just an off the cuff Fuyuka story. Totally goofy. They're around kindergarten age.

The Way Children See Things by Mobiusklein

Fuyuka Yui-Maxwell sat under a tree with her two best friends, Juni Winner-Barton and Mulan Chang-Po. All were sitting in the spacious backyard under the careful eyes of Rashid.

"Juni, what do your parents do at night?"

"What do you mean, Fuyuka?

"Well, every night,my parents play 'move the furniture.'"

"Really, how do you play?"

"I don't know, but everytime I go in the morning, they're moving the bed back against the wall and stuffing stuff back into the dresser that was knocked down and stuff."

"That's strange. My parents just laugh and laugh in the middle of the night. Well, daddy giggles." said Juni. "How about you, Mulan?"

Mulan sniffed, then said, "My dad plays a funny game with mommy. It's like Simon says except it's Sally says."

"How's that?"

"Most of the time, they sleep in the same room, but once in a while, Mommy says, 'Sleep on the couch.' Daddy hates that game. I don't know why they play it."

"Adults strange," says Juni.

Rashid had turned a nasty purple.
