He's beautiful. I look at him as he sleeps. I never thought we'd get together. Oh, I wished and hoped, but never thought I'd actuall get whwat I wanted. But look, here he is, and here I am. <shrug>

Sometimes I wonder: Why did he choose me? He could have anyone he wanted; male or female, but he chose me! Why? Could it be... maybe because I love him, maybe that's why he chose me. Gods know that I tried to show it in all I did.

As the false dawn breaks I catch a glimps of his shadowed profile. Beautiful; the only word I have for it, beautiful!

I turn over onto my stomach and push myself up on my arms then lean over and kiss him softly. "I love you, Heero..." I whisper.

Faint as the wind through the trees, he replies, "Mmmm... love you too... Relena..."
