Hi. Here's another songfic. Hearing this song made me think of Quatre
& Trowa. So here I give you this little ficlette. Since the story is
a series of letters written in e-mail (sorry kumiko's weird aol guy
got me inspired for this), I tried to separate out the address since
when you read anything on this website (which I do) it abbreviates
the e-mail addresses.
Notes: Quatre's "e-mail" is qrw at winner com and
Trowa's "e-mail" is the more colorful: quietboy at circus net. Enjoy!
Warnings: Shounen-ai (I guess)
Spoilers: None
Pairings: 4+3 (No lime. No lemon, but just a touch sappy I guess)

Subject: Umm... Hi.
Dear Trowa,
Hi. I know when you gave me your e-mail address it was for
emergencies only, but I wanted to write to you and say hi anyway.
Now I feel a little stupid. But it has been so long since we've had
any missions in the same area, I've missed you. I've been tracking OZ
activities and I think I've mastered who is assigned to which
projects. It always seems like you and I are always oceans away.
Whenever I think about the last time we were together, I
must get a funny look on my face, because the Maganacs tease me
mercilessly about it. Rashid usually tells them to stop then politely
looks away. I can't tell you how much I would like to see you again.
How's Catherine? Is she well? And the animals?
I'd better stop this message before I say something really
stupid.
Your friend,
Quatre Raberba Winner

Quatre,
Don't feel stupid. I'm glad that you wrote me. It was an
unexpected, but pleasant surprise. Assignments have been coming
rather slowly of late, so I've spent much of my time at the circus.
Catherine is fine. She's mothering me as usual. The animals are doing
well also.
I think about the last time we were together too. Quite often
in fact. I'm not used to saying things like this, but I do believe
that I miss you too.
Don't be afraid to write to me at this address. It isn't the
address that I get assignments on. It's just not an address I check
very often. Although that is now subject to change!

Dear Trowa,
I'm so glad that you aren't angry with my previous message. I
know you're a man who likes his privacy and I didn't want to do
anything to endanger our friendship.
So if I may be so bold, where are you right now? It seems
assignments have been falling off for me as well. Maybe I could go
see you perform at the circus? It would be wonderful to see you again.
Oh. Unless you think it's a bad idea. If it is, I apologize.
Yours truly,
Quatre

SUBJECT: RE: Where are you?
Quatre,
I don't think it's a bad idea at all. I welcome a chance to
see you again. We are performing in Niagara Falls, Ontario. It is
quite a strange place. When you are at the U.S. side of the falls, it
looks very much like the national park that it is. But once you cross
over to the Canadian side, it looks like an amusement park. There are
strange museums and stores. It looks like something more out of Las
Vegas than it does a park. Although the Falls are beautiful which
ever side of the border you stand on.
We are set to perform here for two weeks. Just let me know
when you are coming, if you decide to come. I don't think the move
bold at all. You could never endanger our friendship.
Trowa

Trowa,
I've never heard you so expressive before. Please tell me
more about Niagara Falls. Don't skimp on details. Remember I live in
a desert colony!
I will attempt to visit as soon as possible. I'll let you
know when I get there. Don't be afraid to write because I will have
my laptop and will be able to check my mail constantly. I can't wait
to see you again.
Love,
Quatre

Quatre,
As you well know, talking is not one of the things I do as
actively as Duo Maxwell. But I guess typing thoughts out are better
than words sometimes don't you think? Expressive, huh? Oh well, let
me try to describe the Falls for you.
When you first approach them (from either border), the first
thing you hear is the whooshing of lots and lots of water. As you
walk towards them, you feel the cool mist of the water on your skin
that's both exhilarating and mildly erotic. Then when you physically
look at the falls, you feel in awe because you see something
beautiful that was built not by man but by nature. Sure you can take
the boat ride under the Falls, but you don't feel worthy of that
task. You can also climb around under the falls as well, but again
you feel like you are perverting nature. It's a breathtaking place. I
hope you get here soon so you can witness the beauty.
Goodness, I seem to be waxing poetic, huh? That's not in my
nature at all.
Until we meet,
Trowa

Dearest Trowa,
They say that the Falls is for lovers. But what they don't
say is it must be for lovers of nature. Your description was amazing
I'm so happy you shared it with me. I hope that I am "worthy" to
share your experiences of Niagara.
I should be there any day now. I hope your circus is set up
very close to the Falls. It would be great fun to visit them between
your performances and such. I can't wait to see you and the Falls.
Love,
Q

Wow. You must be in transit because you replied to my message
in what seemed like mere minutes.
Actually the circus is set up rather close to the Falls
themselves. And you ARE worthy, much more than I.
I can't wait to see you again either.

T,
I'm closer than you think. Step outside your trailer now.
Surprise!

Owari
Mushy, isn't it? Sorry. C&C welcomed.
