Another light caress, then he makes a few graceful sweeps in the air with me. I feel his power and my freedom. I now have a new master. One who understands me. One who...
One who feels the need to put me in a case with others. I hear their thrilled hopes that he would take them out of this dusty place quickly followed by their saddened cries as they realize the light briefly shone only long enough for another to join their ranks.
The rapier tells me not to feel alone, I won't be forgotten. I was once owned by someone interesting so their master will surely play with me again.
