Kuso!

This is not going well. I'm just damn lucky that girl called an ambulance; otherwise I'd never have gotten away.

He was cold and wet. His head felt like pure hell and his stomach didn't seem too happy either. But all that was nothing, the buzzing of a gnat's wings, to the darkly handsome boy driving like a madman to nowhere in particular.

Anywhere - away from that beach, away from those ambulance attendants who acted too interested in me. Away from that girl...

Think, baka, think! Your gundam's under fifty feet of water, you've just made a not-so-subtle entrance to this cursed planet, and that girl may have seen me - may have seen *Wing*, before the crash. So what do you do now?

It wasn't exactly how Heero Yuy, only recently so named by his trainer and guardian Dr. J, had wanted to begin this mission. He was a soldier, trained as a terrorist, and that meant silent entries, passing as a nobody, being as inconspicuous as mist in the rain. One tiny drop of poison in a vast ocean - small, silent, and deadly. But this entry, this passing, had not been silent and certainly had been noticed, at least by that girl.

That girl...that girl...why do I keep coming back to her? She had kind eyes, concerned...

...yes, and those kind of feelings lead to weakness and vulnerability. She wanted to help me, damn her. But I don't need help from some pampered schoolgirl who never saw a day of hard luck in her life.

Her hair looked soft. I never noticed how long hair makes you want to reach out ...touch it...I like long hair...

Where did you come from, boy? I don't need you here. Go away, you're not wanted.

"Always follow your feelings" - Dr. Js mantra.

Heero Yuy's feelings at the moment were screaming "survival" at top volume. He didn't have time to think about some girl and her eyes. He needed a place to hide and taking care of that was top priority. Until he was hidden, nothing would distract him.

When the clump of dense trees and bushes came up on the left, Wing's pilot turned the ambulance sharply and pulled into them. He erased the few tracks that had been made in the soft dirt at the side of the road and made sure the vehicle was completely covered by leaves before laying down in the first aid area in the back. Reluctantly, he allowed his eyes to close. The pain was less noticeable now and his stomach was acting as if it might forgive him at some point in the future. The professional soldier, trained from childhood in all things martial, was reassuming control. As he drifted to sleep, though, there was a small slip of the icy mask.

Need to sleep...

tomorrow...I'll find the 01 unit tomorrow...

May have to use the self-destruct...maybe I'll be down there with it when it goes...

I can't, I won't compromise the mission...I have my orders. I'll carry them out...no matter what it takes... or I'll die to cover them ...

stupidity...such stupidity...trying to follow my feelings...

get away... from those eyes...

sharp eyes, questioning eyes...

HER eyes...
