Note: I do some psych-babble on religion here. I hope it offends none (because I'm not trying to offend anyone).... Here goes when we last saw this Windy left it with:
Heero watched Trowa bend over in the car with a slight smirk. 'Nice view...'Trowa glanced back out at the angel. 'He is kinda cute...'
"Heero! What is taking you so long?" a voice called out behind the human and angel.
Both jumped and turned towards the voice. Trowa was rather surprised it came from another beautiful angel with black hair flowing around his face, his eyes the same color of the hair. Like onyx.
"Wufei, you startled me," Heero said with a small smile. "I was just helping him fix a tire."
"I don't understand," Trowa said.
"Heero you know that you've already broken more than a few rules of guardian angelship, right?" Wufei huffed, trying not to think about the very unholy thoughts Heero had in mind when it came to the tall, slender man standing before them.
"Hai, but if I hadn't intervened ..." Heero started to say.
"Intervening is fine, but you are not suppose to make yourself known to your charge you know that. That right is only reserved for family members."
"Okay, I've obviously hit my head harder than I thought," Trowa said aloud.
The two angels turned to look at him.
"So Heero here ... your name is Heero, right?" Trowa asked. Heero nodded his head. "You're my guardian angel?"
"That's correct."
"This guy," he asked pointing at Wufei, "Is he your boss?"
Heero laughed. "Not really. He's kind of my mentor but not my boss. Our boss is a higher power."
Trowa stared back in disbelief. "Of course, he is."
"Another agnostic, eh?" Wufei groused.
"Excuse me, but you don't exactly look like ... Well, I mean you're Chinese aren't you?" Trowa asked.
"So? Oh I see. God, regardless of his name or one's religious beliefs exists. He likes to keep it vague so no matter the religion, the believer has a fair shot at not being persecuted for their beliefs in the afterlife," Wufei explained.
Heero was staring off in space because he had heard this speech many times before, and had even spouted himself almost as many times, found himself enjoying the lean lines of the mortal in front of him. It wasn't until Wufei hit him in the arm that he returned out of fantasy land.
"Ouch! What was that for?" Heero asked.
"Let's get his car up and running and get the heck out of here," Wufei said. "We don't need to bring anymore attention to this situation, don't you agree?"
End of Pt. 4
