'Okay, what was it this time? Was it the tea? Maybe the cake? Damn, I'm one useless human being. Just how many times can one person be drugged and kidnapped in their life? The answers seems to be quite a few times, I guess. Well should I wait for He-- no, I can't do it. Even I'M tired of hearing me bellow his name only to have him ignore me after saving me.'
'Hmm. Ropes. This is new. Can I just say one thing? Thank you Fathers (yeah, both of you) for sticking me in this situation. Thank you for making me be the bearer of the most unrealistic philosophy in the world. Total Pacifism? What, were you guys nuts? Even I in my naivete know that man has always had to fight to survive. Getting rid of all the weapons in the world has essentially done nothing. War is only truly wrong when it is being fought for the wrong reasons like world domination. Umm, don't let Dorothy Catalonia get wind of that. She'd never let me live it down.'
'Father that reared me, couldn't you have taught me to defend myself? Honestly, I let a shrimp like Mariemaia capture me for goodness sakes! Couldn't you have taken me to a firing range so I can learn to shoot? I still can't believe I had Colonel Une in my sights and couldn't do better than shoot the flower off her uniform. Man, I had worse aim than a drunken frat boy aiming for a toilet. I'm only glad He-- that guy didn't see me do it. He would still be laughing about it. No, I let my fate be decided by Gundam pilots, one in particular. The most peculiar one of the lot. Sure he has piercing cobalt blue eyes. Sure he makes blood race and my skin flush, but he's about as animated as the teddy bear he once gave me as a gift.'
'Ah, screw this. Let me see if I can get these ropes off. I'm tired of waiting around for the world to save me. Time for me to save myself every once in a while. Even if it does go against the teachings of total pacifism. Shooting at Une and smacking Mariemaia around was just plain old fun! I never felt more alive. It even had me wishing I knew how to pilot a gundam so I could knock out a few thousand soldiers that took all my fathers away from me. My memories of my first father the one that brought me into the world is too fuzzy for me. But the father from whom I've reclaimed the name Darlian, it still hurts to think you had to be taken away. It hurts more that I never really exacted the revenge I wanted for you. Uh? I think I've gotten my hands loose! Excellent.'
'Now to get the ropes off my ankles. YES! It's dark in here, but I've been here long enough to adjust to the lack of light. I think I can make it to the door. Dammit! What a stupid place to put a table. OW!'
Relena Peacecraft Dorlian found the door unlocked. She opened it and made her way down a long corridor. As she quietly inched along, she keep looking behind her to make sure no one would be looking for her. She turned a corner only to have the room flood with light.
"Hn. Twenty-five minutes. That's too long, Relena. You should have been out of that room in five," said a steely voice.
"Give me a break Heero. I was tied up. Literally!" argued Relena.
"Okay. Then it should have only taken fifteen minutes."
"Screw you, spandex boy! Why don't I drug you next time and see how long it takes you!"
"It would take me ten minutes."
"Yeah, yeah, yeah. Well, I have a meeting I need to prepare for. Same time, next week?" asked Relena.
"You know the rules. You are to never know when you'll be taken," admonished Heero.
"If only you meant something else by the word 'taken' ..." sighed Relena.
"Excuse me?"
"Nothing. Same time, whenever then," she said as she left the room.
A blonde woman with interesting eyebrows walked into the room from another entrance. "Come on, Heero, you have to admit it. She's getting better at escaping."
"I think she'd do even better if you'd stop tying her up, you pervert!" Heero said with almost a smile on his face.
"Ah, it's the little pleasures. By the way, I was watching her on the monitor. Okay I've recorded it for personal use later. She never uttered your name once. You owe me money!"
