I am Death
Gunshots in the night
Terror in the air
Orphans crying on the street
I am Death
The stench of sickness
Weak coughing in hovels
Fluid building in the lungs
I am Death
Burning flesh like incense
Charred timbers and fabric
Stained glass lying in ruins
I am Death
Blade in the dark
Garotte around the neck
Slit-throat soldiers slackly slumped
I am Death
Blaring anthems in battle
Mad laughter over speakers
Green fire slicing through armor
I am Death
Bat-wings spread wide
Appearing out of nowhere
Thermal scythe cutting a swathe
I am Death
Snowy night and battle
Ending months of peace
Death that claims no lives
I am Death
Simple click of button
Flames bloom hell-bright
I am Death no longer
