Triangle by Nixers and KwyckSylver

Prologue

Dorothy Catalonia frowned out the window, watching the serenity of the military base in peacetime. It seemed too early, over too fast. She was still young though. She would surely have more opportunities to shine, but never one so beautiful, so grand, and so close as the wars.

"Perhaps I'm not a warrior, grandfather. You were right about that." Dorothy smiled suddenly, watching a small group of men going through their morning drills. "But I've become such a lovely artist instead."

World politics was her canvas, and Oz, Sanq, the Gundam pilots and the White Fang, they all danced in merry circle for her pleasure, spreading the paint in such glorious patterns in hues of reds, blacks and glittering gold.

She had her fame, her immortality in anonymity. No one would ever know her name, the history books, always glossing over the details for the meat of the story, like cliffnotes to the true masterpiece. A mangled version of the truth, but it would still be her dedication, her artwork that was displayed along those pages, hailed by historians and studied by scholars, while Relena-sama...

Dorothy chuckled to herself. "Relena's Absolute Pacifism will be studied in some general level philosophy class as a quaint mindset of some time gone by."

"Still," the blonde mused to herself. "She has her uses."

Yes, her masterpiece needed one more brushstroke to complete the picture.

A martyr.
