Note: This is a sidestory of 'And We Shall Meet Again' which involves Catherine. Not sure if it's going to really affect the basic plot of 'And We Shall Meet Again' though.

"But Mother, what if you really need to cry? I can't always stay strong. I can't just hold my tears back all the time."
"That's why you cry when it rains. When you cry in rain, no one will know that you are actually crying."

Catherine must have been a good little girl to listen to her mother.
//Bullshit! I can cry whenever I want!// Showing tears in front of others did not make her a weakling. Then how come she was walking around in rain? How come she was crying in this weather? Catherine must have loved her mother or she wouldn't have that saying ringing in her head whenever it rains. Catherine told herself that it was not true, but she always found herself holding back her tears until it rained. //I must be crazy//
Before, it was easy for Catherine to hold back the tears - not exactly easy, but easier than before. These days, Catherine found herself wanting to cry more often than before, and she actually ended up crying when no one was watching. Wait, does that make Catherine a bad girl? She didn't exactly disobey her mother did she? Her mother told her to cry in rain so people wouldn't see - people didn't see her when she cried going down the street so it means she did not disobey her mother. //Hell! Since when did I care about my mother? I don't even know what had happened to her!// But this whole thing was not about her mother. Catherine was out in the rain crying - crying for what? For who? She wanted to deny the truth but she knew very well. //I'm crying because of Wufei///
Feeling that Catherine had enough of this crying in the rain stuff, she opened up her umbrella and started to walk toward her home. It was an early spring - it was freezing. //I'm an idiot - I can't believe I walked around in rain! I am soaked and freezing!// This was getting her really cranky. Looking ahead, she saw another girl who was walking in rain without an umbrella. For some reason, that got Catherine pissed.
She quickened her pace and caught up with the girl that was about to catch cold and die. When Catherine was caught up with the girl, she realized that the girl had a hood attached to her sweatshirt. //Why the hell isn't she using it then!?!!// Catherine silently fumed as she held her umbrella over the girl's head. The girl turned around and stared up at Catherine with a surprised look.
"Put that hood on! It's raining! You don't think you look pretty like that do you?" Catherine snapped at the girl. The girl's face flushed as she grabbed for her hood attached to her sweatshirt. Catherine's expression softened. "Listen girl, it's cold out here. Now I think it'll be better for you to keep you head warm," silence was all she received. Catherine sighed, "Come on, I'll take you to the bus stop."
They walked in silence. Catherine glanced at the girl who just stared at the ground.
"So, you live around here?" Catherine spoke, breaking the silence.
"Yes."
"Why were you crying? You dumped?"
"No."
"You got a sweetie?"
"No."
"Not much of a talker are you?"
"No," was the girl's last reply and silence ensued.
"So here we are," Catherine stopped in front of the bus stop. "I think it's going to stop soon - you take care," Catherine slapped her back.
"Thank you," the girl said politely.
"No problem! You take care!" Catherine waved her hand and walked off.
//Wufei, will you ever know how I feel about you?//
From the distance, the girl watched Catherine walking away.
