"Oh! My word!" I could hear Zechs half desperate cry from his room. I could just understand why, my head hurts, my muscles hurt, my sense of reason seemed to have left me all together, and I'm too tired to actually sleep.
And there's still one more final to go!
I knocked at his door and waited for his usual half-hearted 'come in', but nothing came. Surely I've just heard his voice just now.
I knocked again, and waited for a minute, but no answer came. I then contemplated whether to use the ever-handy Mr. Security Clearance Card or just leave it. But questions need answering! I really damn the day when I dozed of in class. This is what happened. I swear this would never happen again, ever in my whole entire life plus a day.
So, the card won. Its not like I've never shown myself into his room in the past before anyway. He'll be okay. The door slid and there's Zechs on his table, and he turned his eyes to meet me.
Not on his table the normal way. But.. this one made me drop my books, squeak like a mouse, eye bulged out like a goldfish, and my jaw slacked. Zechs.. on a table.. his eyes dilated, his lips bruised, his skin flushed..
And a man on top of HIM!!
The man then turned around to see who had barged in and, oh I remembered this guy, he's Zechs friend, an officer in OZ.. what's his name already? Treize Khusherenada or something like that. Then his voice caught my attention.
"Lucrezia Noin?" and I nodded. "Please."
The request, or is it a command was short and simple, easy to understand, but my limbs wouldn't work.
He raised his eyebrows and said again, his words level, "Lucrezia, its either you stay or leave."
"S.. stay? Sir?" the orders to leave had been quite digestible. But stay?
He smiled again, "Of course, Zechs here is quite amusing and had enough energy for the whole universe. I think I need help."
I didn't know what to say, "Uh.. I think.. I'll leave Sir."
"Very well then." He said, as he dove back to whatever they had been doing before I came in. As I stepped out of the room, I could hear, a muffled voice,
"Lucrezia, make sure you lock the door before you leave."
I did what I was told and stood in the corridor, stunned. I looked down to my hands and found out that I hadn't had my book with me. And God forbid if I'm going back in there to retrieve it, even though Khusherenada's offer was actually.. Enticing enough.
I sighed. Well, I think I have to bug Diane for her notes and just try to figure the answers out myself.
