Adaptation from The Princess and the Pea, JejeFish style. Don't expect too much. Quite OOC. Shonen Ai. and disclaimers too. I don't own any of them.
Lady Une was so upset that her General could not find a spouse. But her General was very picky (even now he didn't care what gender his spouse would be). He wanted his spouse to be beautiful, well-born, with elegance and manner.
One evening, during a fierce hurricane that suddenly blown up (this is very common in fairytale land, marking the meeting of the hero and his spouse-to-be), Treize was having his solitary dinner when a soldier came up to him and said, "Sir, there's a person who insisted that he wanted to lodge in this base for the night,"
Treize looked up in annoyance and said, "We're not a hotel. Send him off. Direct him to the nearest hotel."
"Believe me sir, I tried to. But I can't."
"And why is that?"
"Because he is in a gundam, and he threaten to destroy the base if you don't let him in."
So Treize sent the soldier to fetch the insistent gundam pilot.
Half an hour later, a soaked man with a metal mask stepped into the room.
"And who are you?" Treize asked.
"I'm a prince. I seek shelter for myself and my gundam. My gundam has broken down and I can't repair it in the hurricane."
"We're not a hotel."
"Yes Sir, I know. But you have a hangar and the hotel doesn't. And my gundam scared everyone away."
Treize wanted to ask why the young man ran amok with a gundam in the middle of the storm but he saw the man had turned blue and shivering from top to bottom. So he ordered the servants to prepare a hot bath and gave the man warm clothes and ordered that he be served a warm dinner.
As the guest went for his bath, Treize sat wondering.
A prince, he said. But very insistent in manner and quite brash. Then again, maybe it's because of the hurricane. I hate hurricanes myself. Maybe I should test him to see if he could become my spouse. So he called for Lady Une, who was the expert in judging someone's heritage and degree of nobility.
So Lady Une disappeared into the rooms, preparing the bed for the prince.
Meanwhile the prince was all bathed and dressed up and went down to meet Treize in the dining room. Treize saw the prince and thought the prince was very beautiful.
"Hello. I haven't known your name."
"Good Sir, I am Milliard Peacecraft, son of the Late King Peacecraft of Sanc."
"I am Treize Khusherenada. Please have your dinner. I have some matters to attend to."
So the prince ate his dinner. And when he had finished, a soldier escorted him to the Guest Bedroom.
In the room, Lady Une had stacked twenty mattresses and put a small bullet underneath the first.
"Only a well-born person, who had all the elegance and manners could feel the bullet underneath." she explained to Treize.
The prince went into the room and saw the high pile of mattress and thought to himself, "This must be an odd, odd place."
But he climbed to the top mattress anyway, for he felt so tired. But he felt funny and couldn't sleep all night.
In the morning Lady Une came in to fetch the prince and asked.
"Did you have a good night sleep?"
"Oh horrors. I could not sleep all night. There's an annoying little bump on the mattress." answered the prince.
Lady Une smiled in acknowledgement. This is the right spouse for Treize.
And soon after, as they sat in the dining room for breakfast, Treize asked.
"Did you have a good night sleep?"
"Oh horrors. I could not sleep all night. There's an annoying little bump on the mattress." answered the prince.
Treize smiled in acknowledgement. This is the right spouse for him.
So, after breakfast, Treize asked Milliard's hand for marriage, but he refused.
"No, no, I can't." he said, and he thanked his hosts and intended to go back home.
Now something really odd had occured during the night. The prince's gundam, Epyon, was put inside the hangar for the night, free from the rain and the storm. And in the hangar, there was another gundam, called Tallgeese and lo and behold, electricity of love sparked between the two gundams, and when the prince sought the gundam...
"Epyon, Epyon, we have to leave. It's morning already."
"No, no my Prince. I found my love and I don't want to leave him here."
"Epyon, Epyon, we have to leave. Why don't you take him with us?"
"No, no my Prince. He belongs to the General of Oz."
So, at last the prince felt so dejected that he couldn't say anything. He couldn't possibly go home without Epyon or his father would kill him (well, kill is an understatement. But they came from a pacifist country. Should we even say.. destroy?)
So, the prince agreed to marry Treize, who was very happy, and the gundams were happy too. Lady Une felt happy because at last her General found someone to marry. The gundams were happy too, I think they were the happiest in the world.
King Peacecraft never wanted his children to be homosexual, but Lady Une managed to convince him that Treize wasn't a man (which kind of embarassed Treize, but the King never got to see Treize anyway).
The moral of the story was, trust in Lady Une to save the day.
The End.
