Okay guys, you're replies have touched my heart. Unfortunatly though,
so has a cold. So if you guys would send your support and maybe a box
of chocolate pocky and some tea, this story will be continue like
yarn of a cardigan sweater (Yeah, I know, I make weird analogies.)
*achoos* Duo bless you all and on with the fic.
Note: As I promised, Wufei makes his appearance in this chapter.
Saigon, 1975
A small room behind Dreamland.
As Heero held Duo, he thought about what more he could do and then realized the only answer. "Duo, will you live with me? After the war, we'll go to America together, and you could get a better job and love each other until the sun freezes over."
Duo looked up at Heero, his eyes brightening, holding his soldier closer to him. "Yes, Heero," he whispered, and then cried out, "Yes, forever and ever yes, Heero! But would it be okay if I brought some of the girls from the club? They could bless our room here for us."
Heero nodded, "If it would make you happy, then they can come." Duo smiled, and Heero kissed him softly. This would be perfect.
Outside Dreamland, a phone booth.
Heero called Quatre at the Embassy, and as he listened to the rings he contemplated what to say to him. Being gay was a taboo in America, exspecially in the Army. He would have to keep Duo's sexuality a secret.
"Hello, Winner here."
"Hey Quatre, it's Heero."
"Oi, Yuy! Where have you been?! The others thought some Vietnamese thug had murdered you or something!"
"Quatre, Duet is the most wonderful thing that has ever happened to me. And I want her to live with me."
"Heero," Quatre said, "I can understand if she was a good lay, but she can't come to America with us! Saigon is falling apart, this wouldn't be right."
"Listen, I just need a little bit more time with her. We'll come back to the Embassy as soon as we can."
Quatre sighed over the phone, "Fine, but you better get your ass back here real quick, I'm not coverin' for you."
"Thanks, buddy, you're a life saver." And Heero hung up the phone and started walking to the place he was staying. There wouldn't be much time left.
Heero's room
Duo leaned against Heero lovingly, and was kissed on the forehead. Heero had bargained for another day with him with the Engineer and he was happy that he could be held by his lover again.
The girls from the club had come and decorated the room with paper unicorns and perfume, a tradition for blessing house. They had even made a shrine to Duo's parents in memory of them. Heero closed his eyes as he listened to the girls sing a beautiful Vietnamese song.
"What are they singing, Duo?" Heero asked
."No one know the translation really," Duo answered, "But it's what all the girls sing at weddings." Heero looked a little shocked at the wedding part. He loved Duo with all his heart, but marriage...
Duo understood completely and shrugged, "They didn't know what else to sing.""
Gigi brought out some champagne and glasses, proposing a toast, "To the real Miss Saigon," she said, smiling at Duo. Duo smiled back and raised his glass as the others echoed Gigi.
But soon, the happiness was shattered when the door burst open. In the doorway stood a man, shoulder-length black hair tied in a tight pony tail, dressed in traditional Vietnamese clothig. He stood there, face red with anger, glaring at Duo.
"Wufei!" Duo cried. "What are you DOING here!?"
"I am here to claim you, and to save you from the injustice of being a whore!" Wufei yelled and then looked at Heero and the shrine to Duo's parents. "What is this?! You living with an American? The injustice of it all! You were promised to me and I shall have you!" Wufei started walking toward Duo.
Heero started to move infront of Duo, but he stopped him. Duo stopped Wufei and said sternly in his face. "That was a promise my parents made a long time ago, and when they died, that promise left with them." Duo watched Wufei's reaction and then ordered him to leave, if he had any honor at all.
As Wufei left he called out, "I shall come back, Duo! You are mine until death! Saigon will fall, and so will your American G.I.!"
Duo glared at the door as Heero wrapped his arms around him. He would rather die than be married to man he didn't love.

Wufei: Duo? Fiancee to Duo?! INJUSTICE
Belle: It's the way life is.
Wufei sputters in anger.
Belle: Well, while Wufei does his Sylvester impressions, you can go
