"What about this one?"
"Mn... too short."
[Sighs]
"Here's one."
"Nah, too skinny."
"What about this one?"
"Too tall! We'd never be able to get the angel on top!"
"Here. What about this one?"
"Oh, no. That one's way too full! There's no place to put the ornaments."
"This one's nice."
"Yeah, but the needles are too long."
"I like this one."
"Yeah, it's pretty, but the branches are weak. They'll droop."
"Ooh! This one's pretty! How 'bout this one?"
"I don't know, the color's a little funny, don't you think."
"Okay. Here! Here is the perfect tree!"
"Uh uh. I don't think we want that one."
"MAXWELL!!!"
"Yes, Wu-babe?"
"THIS IS A PERFECTLY GOOD TREE! IT IS *NOT* TOO SHORT. *NOT* TOO TALL. *NOT* TOO FAT AND *NOT* TOO SMALL! THE COLOR IS PERFECT AND THE SHAPE IS *FINE*."
"Yeah, Wu-man, but that's a Blue Spruce."
"Sooooo?"
"Okay, Wu-man, if you want to, we'll get it——but *YOU'RE* putting the lights on it, not me."
"*FINE*! *FINE*! Can we just *get* the tree and *go*? This is the fifth tree stand we've been too and I'm tired."
"Sure, baby, why didn't you just say so? We didn't have to get the tree tonight..."
Later that night
"Duo," Wufei whined pitifully as he sat soaking in a bathtub full of buttermilk bubble bath.
"Yes, Wu-babe?" Duo asked from his position behind the Chinese man, scooping warm water up over the other man's arms.
"Why didn't you tell me *before* we got the tree home that it was poisonous?"
Duo smiled and drop-kissed Wufei's neck. "Because you were getting ready to throw a temper-tantrum, dear, and Heero was getting embarrassed."
"Here's some caladryl lotion," Heero said, walking into the bathroom. He took one look at the angry red pinpricks covering his dragon's arms, looked down at the small bottle in his hands, set the bottle down on the counter before turning back out. "I'll go try to find some more."

Guys... anyone know what that pink liquid ointment you put on rashes (I think one's benedryl) is?
