Warnings: The following story contains scenes that are humorous,
sappy, fluff, with Incoherence, random PoV switching, and
Sexual innuendos abound.
Original Characters are presented; all characters are IC according to
the author's interpretation of them. Mainly heterosexual
situations, with hints of YAOI and YURI.
Spoilers: Previous Matter of Heart Series Arc stories: "Dance of the
Heart" Arc and "Oh Baby, Baby" Arc. Built off of "Traditions".

Disclaimer: Gundam Wing and its characters belong to Bandai, Sunrise
and Sotsu Agency and are only being used for non-profit entertainment
purposes. References to printed texts, films, sitcoms, musical
pieces, and/or other fanfictions don't belong to the author either.
Original Characters, including but not limited too, the Berh
Siblings, Jake Mazzolla and "the chibis", are original and hence, the
author's own creation.
Notes: This is the story of the children, the nine children of the 6
gundam pilots (Heero--Zechs) plus the grandchild of Treize
Khushrenada. This story will not focus primarily on the characters
from the series, but rather, the generation after them. This story is
not for all die-hard fans, but runs along the lines of a more
original piece.
Additional Note: 1, 2, 3, 4, & 5 often times refer to each other as
"husband"; please refer back to "Promise of the Rings" Part 15 if this
causes confusion.
Additional Note 2: The chibis often times refer to their parents'
friends and partners as "Uncle" or "Aunt"--in this case, the
term is used simply as one of respect since, with the exception
of Kit & Adrian's relation to Relena and all of Quatre's sisters,
none of the parents have siblings.

~ November 227AC~
The beginning of November came and went, surprisingly with little incident.
It was still November-Trinity's and Adrian's wedding was little more than two weeks away-and Mara Jade was feeling young and alive and better than ever as the cool winter breeze nipped at her nose and cheeks.
The twins had invited her over for a picnic. Kit-who had promised to stay in town until the holidays were over-had been invited as well. Mara Jade was coming from the stables, having treated her gelding to some sugar cubes, when strong arms wrapped around her middle and a voice at her ear whispered, "Hi there, beautiful."
It was really a good book-one he was having a hard time looking away from long enough to note that it was Kit who'd walked into the library so noisily. An irritated sound from the young woman prompted him to look again, and he frowned at her frowning out the window.
"I wish they would just hurry up and admit they love each other already so they could just get married and enough with all this nonsense!" the dark-haired Peacecraft girl huffed.
"Excuse me?" His book forgotten, he stared at her as if she were crazy… Well, he did think that anyway…
"Well, just look at them!" Kit replied, waving a hand to the window, and he did, getting up to look over her shoulder and see what had the young woman so a-fired. "It's plain and clear to everyone and anyone that Mara Jade loves Tristan just as every bit as much as you've insisted he loves her. It's silly that they're being so stubborn about this whole marriage business and you would *think* they'd do that sort of thing in privacy, for goodness's sake!"
'That sort of thing' just happened to be hugging. Nothing else, he noted, staring out at the embracing couple across the yard. Noting, also, the extended amount of time that embrace lasted. And then the blond leaned forward and kissed the brunette.
Beside him, Kit was going on about the scene the two were making, but he didn't pay her any attention. His head started to ache and he realized he was grinding his teeth. "They're not doing anything scandalous," he managed to cut into her tirade after unclenching his jaw.
Katarynna Peacecraft turned to him, dark blue eyes sparkling. "I never knew you were such a hentai, Triton!" she teased, pulling a rose stem free from the bouquet she'd placed on a table, and then with a smile she left.
"There are a lot of things you don't know," he murmured, turning away from the window and the couple who were now walking back toward the house, arms wrapped around each other's waist.
He was grabbed, pulled into the bedroom, and slammed up against the wall before he could even react. Triton cried out, staring into his twin's face with wide-eyed surprise.
"Tristan, what-"
"Just what the hell did you think you were doing right now?' the younger blond ground out, glaring at his brother.
"Tris, what? I-"
"Let's try it this way: why did I just see you kissing Mara J?"
If possible, Triton's surprise doubled in the face of his brother's anger. "That? That was just a harmless little peck!" Triton stated to laugh, but just as suddenly his access to air was cut off. "Tristan!" he managed to cry out.
"I don't like you touching her at all," Tristan growled lowly. A glint sparked in his brother's eyes.
"What's yours is mine, ne?" Triton replied hoarsely, reached up and touching his brother's check. His fingers slipped back into Tristan's hair, massaging his scalp before suddenly pulling the other boy's face forward.
Lips met lips.
Hearts roared blood past ears.
Slowly, Tristan's grasp on Triton's collar lessened, and the younger fell against the older. It was a moment before Triton moved, twisting around until it was Tristan pinned up against the wall. After another minute, Triton finally pulled away.
"Baka," he whispered softly, smiling into his twin's face.
"Hai," Tristan whispered. He took a deep breath before opening his eyes again to look at his brother. "I'm sorry. I wasn't thinking straight."
"She loves you."
"I know."
"Not me."
Tristan looked down at the floor. "She used to. It scares me sometimes to think she could again..."
Triton leaned forward, resting his forehead against Tristan's shoulder. "Do you know something I don't? You've been acting strange ever since you got back from the Sands…"
"Iie," Tristan replied, giving his head a little shake as he looked up and out the window bank across the room. Early morning sunshine was pouring in. "We should get going before the girls start to wonder."
"You're right," Triton sighed, pulling away to discard his clothes and don a proper winter riding outfit.
"By the way," Tristan said, watching his brother change. "What did you tell Kit to get her to agree to come today?"
"We're on a wedding party outing," Triton winked at his twin.
Pretty smart, Tristan nodded. "But how are you going to explain the other's absence?"
"Thank you, and I'm not." Triton tucked his shirt in and pulled a sweater over. "They're already out at the lake."
Tristan laughed. "You think of everything, don't you?'
"I have to," Triton replied, leading the way out the door. "If I left it to you, nothing would get done!"
