Part Seven: Handing Out Candy

Tradition #7: Handing out Candy 207 AC

The doorbell rang for what seemed like the five millionth time that night as Wufei eased his large frame off the couch, stepping over Trinity's prone body-fast asleep amidst a mountain of candy.

The bell sang out again, before Wufei could reach the door and highly annoyed, the dark-haired, pregnant man groused, "Alright already! I'm coming! I'm coming!"

He threw the door open and glared at the trio of prepubescent teenagers. "Don't you people ever quit?" he asked, eyeing the three rag-tagged boys.

"Whoa! Cool costume!" "That's no costume, moron; that's a real lady!" "Hey! Who you calling moron, moron?"

Wufei almost growled as he reached for one of the bowls next to the door. "Here," he said, shoving the bowl at them and allowing them to fill their bags with the remaining morsels. "Take your candy and go."

"Man, that's no way to treat guests!" "Yeah, you should be more respectful-like." "Yo, trick-or-treat, man."

"Trick," Wufei replied before slamming the door in their faces.

Grinning, he returned the now-empty bowl to its place next to the candy-cauldron thinking he should have agreed when Duo offered to whip up another batch of those pepper, stink-bomb, and laxative fake-candies.
